Field Trips

About VHS Field Trips

Valley Home Scholar's field trips are organized by the membership. Some examples of field trips we have had in the past are:

  • Canoe Trip on the Little Spokane River
  • BFGoodrich Plant Tour
  • Glazed By Design (pottery painting)
  • Eastern Washington University Planetarium
  • The Eastern Washington Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
  • Gonzaga Law School Moot Court Competition
  • Fairchild AFB
Field trips are announced in our monthly newsletter, The Acorn.

Did you check yes to field trips on your membership form? Are you now wondering what you should do? Planning a field trip isn't as difficult as you might imagine. Start with what interests your family and work from there. If it's a field trip in which you would like to participate, chances are other families would, too. Arranging field trips is a great way to meet other members of the group and is a huge service to other homeschoolers.

E-mail VHS for more assistance.

R-E-S-P-E-C-T is what we all need when attending field trips.
